The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), Washington, has announced the election of three new directors to its board. The election results were announced during ISRI’s annual convention, held April 21-25 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The terms are for two years.
The three new directors are:
- Brian Henesey, vice president and general manager of Rocky Mountain Recycling, Commerce City, Colorado;
- Matthew Kripke, president and co-owner of nonferrous brokerage company Kripke Enterprises Inc., Toledo, Ohio; and
- Michael Potash of Sioux City Compressed Steel Co., Sioux City, Iowa.
“Over the years, through their involvement with ISRI, I have gotten to know and respect Brian, Matt and Mike,” says Doug Kramer, chair of ISRI’s board of directors. “I have no doubt that their expertise, knowledge and leadership skills are just a few of the many reasons they were elected to serve on the board by their peers. Over the course of their terms, they will no doubt help shape the future of the industry and lead us in the right direction.”
