Acme Refining Scrap Iron & Metal announced that their Chicago facility has upgraded their ISO certifications from ISO 9001:2000 to ISO 9001:2008. All ISO 2001 certifications are required to complete the update by November 15, 2010 or their ISO certificate will become obsolete.
“The ISO upgrade shows Acme’s commitment and focus on continuous improvement in our operations at the Acme yards, in partnering with our customers who require ISO standards and in our shipment of scrap to consumers,” said Brett Baron, Acme’s COO.
