The International Secure Information Governance & Management Association (i-SIGMA), Phoenix, has announced winners of its inaugural Impact Awards initiative.
According to a news release, the organization created the i-SIGMA Impact Awards to better showcase and acknowledge new and innovative products and services offered within the information governance industry. The association says it received multiple submissions for the award’s inaugural year for five different categories: Data Destruction Impact Award, ITAD Impact Award, Operations Impact Award, Security Impact Award and Information Governance Impact Award.
“The Impact Awards initiative is a perfect way to provide healthy competition, while also showcasing the great and innovative products and services our industry offers,” says Jennie Gift, 2023 i-SIGMA conference chair and CSDS. “This will be an essential part of the conference for years to come.”
i-SIGMA has presented the following awards for this year:
- Data Destruction Impact Award – Ameri-Shred Corp., Alpena, Michigan, for its M.2 SSD & Other Small Media Shredding Solutions;
- ITAD Impact Award – Shred-Tech, Cambridge, Ontario, for its ITAD Platform;
- Operations Impact Award – ShredMetrics LLC, Long Beach, New York, for its Q-Shred Mobile App upgrades;
- Security Impact Award – Bins4 Shredding, Barrie, Ontario, for its “The ShredVantage” product; and
- Information Governance Impact Award – CSR Privacy Solutions Inc., Jensen Beach, Florida, for its uRISQ product.
The award winners and nominees were featured and displayed at the 2023 i-SIGMA Annual Conference and Expo, which took place March 30-31 in Las Vegas.
