More than 600 professionals are gathering at the i-SIGMA Annual Conference March 30-31 at the Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas.
The theme of this year’s event, “In It to Win It,” captures the spirit of the many changes to the conference format. The event includes a night at Topgolf March 29, a day of educational sessions for executives only and the inaugural IG Impact Awards.
Jennie Gift, vice president of sales at CSR Privacy Solutions, Jensen Beach, Florida, as the chairperson of this year’s annual conference committee, has spent the last nine months bringing this event to life. With her leadership and expertise, the conference brings together experts and professionals in the field of secure information management to foster productive discussions on the latest developments and trends.
Reflecting on the upcoming conference, Gift says, "It has been a great honor to serve as the chair of the annual conference committee for i-SIGMA. Our team of members and corporate partners have worked hard to create a valuable and informative event that brought together leading experts and professionals in the industry. I'm excited to see how our discussions and collaborations will continue to drive innovation in the field of secure information management.”
This year’s show will also be the first i-SIGMA conference overseen by i-SIGMA’s new CEO Nate Campbell.
One of the key themes for the conference will be the importance of secure data destruction in the current era of increasing data breaches and cyber threats. With the increasing amount of personal and confidential data being generated every day, the need is growing for businesses and organizations to take responsibility for secure destruction and overall data privacy programs. I-SIGMA education sessions will focus on how members can take a lead in this growing revenue-generating area.
