Rockaway, N.J.-based iScrap App Inc. has announced its online and mobile version of the iScrap App is ready for use. Users can now access iScrap App’s scrap yard network on www.iScrapApp.com from any Internet-connected device including computers, iPads and mobile tablets, and all smartphones, including the BlackBerry.
The application is designed to enable users to locate scrap yards; see the materials they buy; send pictures of materials; request containers; and obtain driving directions, hours of operation and contact information.
The iScrap App was launched earlier this year for Apple devices. According to the company, with the iScrap App customers can:
- Locate and communicate with local scrap yards;
- Check pricing at multiple scrap yards at the same time;
- Take and send pictures of scrap materials;
- Call or e-mail scrap yards; and
- Obtain directions and hours of operation for different companies.
