IScrap App, Rockaway, N.J., has announced it has partnered with Sims Metal Management, headquartered in New York, and with Commercial Metals Co., based in Irving, Texas. Through the iScrap App, the metals recycling companies will be able to provide customers and local scrap metal recyclers current scrap metal prices and other information using the iScrap App and the iScrap App Online.
IScrap App will promote more than 40 CMC locations in the U.S. through its iPhone and Android-based mobile apps, BlackBerry compatible mobile site and online search.

Tens of thousands of daily iScrap App users will be able to locate SMM locations, see the materials they buy, request containers and send photos of their materials to yard operators along with any questions they may have.
SMM’s partnership with iScrap App will begin with Northeaster Sims locations and expand throughout 2012, according to a news release from iScrap App. SMM operates 120 locations throughout North America.
