Cycle Systems, a scrap metal recycling firm headquartered in Roanoke, Va., has partnered with the iScrap App to provide its customers and local scrap metal recyclers with current scrap metal prices and other information anytime, anywhere, through any device.
IScrap App will promote all nine Cycle Systems scrap metal locations through their iPhone- and Android-based mobile apps, BlackBerry compatible mobile site and online search. According to the iScrap App creators, thousands of daily iScrap App users will be able to locate all nine Cycle System locations, see the materials they purchase, request containers from the iScrap App and send pictures of their materials for questions to each yard operator.
The partnership will continue through December 2012 and likely be extended for the following year, say the company.
IScrap App offers scrap metal recyclers a directory of scrap yards they can access through any internet connected device. Through the iScrap App, users can automatically locate scrap yards within 100 miles or search anywhere in the United States and Canada.
