IScrap App Inc., based in Rockaway, N.J., has added a new dashboard design and features to its iScrap mobile app and online directory. Customers of the iScrap App can now interact with others in the scrap metal industry for buying and selling, the company says.
Months in the making, the iScrap App dashboard features daily industry news, market prices and marketing tips as well as daily listing analytics.
“Since 2011 we have been able to work with hundreds of scrap yards and thousands of peddlers across the U.S. and Canada,” says Tom Buechel, iScrap App creator. “After many people asking us, we are excited to add a trader’s section into the iScrap App, so traders and scrap yards can work through a proven platform together.”
Traders and brokers across the international scrap industry who sign up for a trader subscription through the iScrap App can communicate buying and selling offers through the iScrap App dashboard, Buechel says.
Scrap yard users of the iScrap App also have the ability to connect with other industry professionals with buy and sell offers for materials with a limited number of posts per month. This allows scrap yard owners to control who they do and do not interact with on a business level, the company says.
The iScrap App has more than 150,000 downloads and more than 10 million page views online, according to the company.
