Industrial Services of America Inc. (ISA) has appointed Terry Hancock to head its Alloys division. Hancock joined ISA in April 2010. Prior to joining ISA, Hancock, who has been involved in the scrap recycling industry for 25 years, was general manager of ELG Metals’ South Gate, Calif., facility.
According to an ISA release, Hancock, who is a trained metallurgist, is experienced in all aspects of scrap processing, including management, operations, purchasing, sales and acquisition integration. Hancock has overseen the planning, development and expansion of several regional stainless steel and high temperature alloys recycling facilities over the course of his career, the release notes.
“Terry has demonstrated leadership abilities from the time he joined ISA, and we are pleased to have someone with his credentials leading the Alloys division,” says Brian Donaghy, president and COO of ISA.
