Iron Mountain Inc. has formed a technology partnership with ImageTag®, the creator of innovative solutions for managing paper in a digital world.
As part of the partnership, Iron Mountain has also made an equity investment in ImageTag. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to develop solutions that leverage ImageTag's KwikTag® Digital Filing and Iron Mountain's Records Management and Digital Archives services to provide customers with a bridge for paper-to-digital conversion of critical documents. The collaborative offering will provide value to customers requiring compliant records management solutions, litigation discovery support, and business continuity.
According to John Petralia, vice president of product management for Iron Mountain's records management solutions, "ImageTag's technology was attractive to us because of its unique distributed paper capture process. When combined with our leading online Records Management and Digital Archiving solutions, we will be able to provide customers an efficient way to close the management gap between physical and digital records. Together, we can provide customers with a simple solution to manage their active paper records -- consistently and compliantly."
