Iron Mountain Incorporated has expanded its secure shredding services with the acquisition of Shredco, Inc., a company based in Houston with additional operations in New Orleans.
The regional expansion is part of an ongoing, national rollout of Iron Mountain’s secure shredding operations.
“Businesses need a consistent and secure shredding process that’s implemented based on records retention policies and Iron Mountain is committed to providing customers a one-stop shop for all of their records and information management needs,” said Richard Reese, chairman and CEO of Iron Mountain. “This acquisition gets us closer to our goal of being able to provide Secure Shredding services in every major market in this country.”
This most recent acquisition enables Iron Mountain to offer on-site mobile shredding services to customers in the Southeastern Texas and Southern Louisiana markets. Coupled with existing service locations in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, and San Antonio, Iron Mountain is able to provide full coverage for all of the primary and secondary Texas markets. In the near future, Iron Mountain will add off-site shredding to its spectrum of shredding solutions in these new markets.
