The Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association (IPPTA) will be holding its 53rd annual general meeting and seminar March 3-4 at the Savera Hotel in in Chennai, India. The theme of this year’s meeting is Clean & Green
Best Practices and Technologies in Paper Manufacturing.
Topics to be covered during the two-day event include the following:
- Recycling and reuse of water and wastewater;
- the efficient use of energy and maximizing green energy to reduce carbon footprint;
- reducing waste generation and efficiently managing all wastes the paper industry generates; and
- adopting clean and green technologies wherever possible in the entire manufacturing process.
To be as inclusive as possible the IPPTA is seeing submissions from either members or non-members of the organization to present papers at the two-day meeting.
The last day for submissions of an abstract is 5 February 2017 and a detailed paper by 15 February 2017.
