International Paper (IP), headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., has launched a new line of recycled-content printing and writing paper.
The Hammermill Great White 100 line of printing and writing paper is made from 100-percent-post-consumer fiber. The paper is now available to customers throughout North America.
"Consumers are interested in recycled paper products,” Jon Ernst, IP vice president for Imaging Papers says, “but they also want confidence in the quality and how the product performs. Hammermill Great White 100 is the best of both worlds and offers a dependable 99.99-percent-jam-free-guarantee paper that has a 92 brightness. It's a great paper that runs smoothly, looks sharp and contains 100 percent post-consumer fiber.”
The paper line is manufactured at the company’s Riverdale, Ala., mill and comes after a multi-million dollar investment into the company’s recycled product capabilities. IP already produces printing and writing paper made from 30-percent and 50-percent-recycled content.
