Recyclers and solid waste managers from throughout
The event, hosted jointly by the Iowa Recycling Association and the Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations, carries a theme of “Challenges, Changes and New Visions,” and will feature 20 educational sessions from which attendees may choose.
Solid waste and recycling management professionals from cities and private firms from across the state are expected to attend, according to conference co-chairs Don Vogt and Chuck Goddard.
An exhibit hall featuring equipment and service providers will also be part of the event, as will social and networking events, including a scenic river boat ride on Monday evening, Oct. 9.
Those seeking more information on the conference or wishing to register can contact Steve Staub, executive director of the Iowa Recycling Association, at (515) 265-1596.
