Interseroh SE, based in Cologne, Germany, has announced that Roland Stroese, a member of its board of directors for five years, is resigning, effective Dec. 31, 2010.
Due to the resignation, the company says that its board of directors is being adjusted, and the company’s management committee will be reduced in size.
Axel Schweitzer, chairman of the board, will assume the responsibility for the segments of Services and Raw Materials Trading, beginning Jan. 1, 2011. Joachim Wagner will continue to be responsible for the Steel and Metals Recycling segment as a member of Interseroh’s board of directors.
The company also announced that a six-member Management Committee, reporting directly to the board, will ensure a close connection between strategic management and the operational units. In this committee Eric Mendel, chief representative of Interseroh SE and chairman of the management of Interseroh Dienstleistungs GmbH, will be in charge of the Services, Marketing and Sales division. Bernd Fricke will become managing director of Interseroh’s subsidiary RDB plastics GmbH, and will be involved as a new member covering the Raw Materials Trading division.
