International Business Solutions Alliance L.L.C, an alliance of independent printing distributors, has signed a multimillion dollar supplier agreement with Novation LLC, an Irving, Tex.-based group purchasing organization.
The agreement, effective Jan. 1, 2005, creates a national distribution network that gives the companies' clients an alternative to working with large national companies.
Under the contract agreement, IBSA will supply Novation's clients with 13 different product offerings, including: document destruction, custom forms, marketing printing, patient admitting solutions, automated data collection, electronic print to mail and other products.
"By signing this landmark agreement with IBSA, Novation is empowering its thousands of healthcare organization members with the ability to purchase products from our large, diversified distributor base," said Paul Keith, founder, owner and president and CEO of IBSA. "This agreement will reduce Novation members' overall supply costs, expand their product options and give them access to the latest technologies and the best possible service."
Bowling Green, Ky.-based IBSA more than 115 affiliate companies and 58 suppliers with a combined annual purchasing volume of about $400 million.
