International Baler Corp. (IBC), Jacksonville, Fla., has announced it will distribute the Imabe Iberica product line for the scrap industry directly and through its dealer network.
Imabe, based in Madrid, Spain, manufactures heavy-duty baling, shearing and logging equipment. According to IBC, the distribution agreement means dealers will be able to provide processing solutions for more materials, including obsolete appliances and all forms of iron and steel scrap.
“To be a successful company, you have to be passionate about producing quality equipment and providing quality customer service,” says Randy Gibson, IBC director of sales and marketing. “When looking for a manufacturer to partner with who possesses these qualities, IBC had to look no further than Imabe. Our partnership offers recyclers in the U.S.A. access to high-production fiber, nonferrous and ferrous balers and shears.”
Imabe and IBC offer a variety of products. IBC’s product line includes:
- High-production auto-tie and two-ram balers;
- Vertical balers;
- Specialty balers for foam, rubber and other materials;
- Bisquitters and densifiers for cans and fine materials;
- Conveyor systems;
- Material fluffers and material handling cart dumpers; and
- Drum crushers and can filter balers.
Imabe’s product line includes:
- High-compression two-ram and three-ram ferrous balers;
- Car and end-of-life vehicle balers;
- Shear-balers and baler-loggers;
- Cable strippers;
- Shears; and
- High-output auto-tie balers with conveyors.
Imabe says it is confident in its decision to partner with IBC.
“It’s incredible to see an initial idea develop into the best equipment line for the North American recycling industry,” Manuel San Sebastian, Imabe of America Co. managing director, says. “As we learn more about the capabilities of both companies, this collaboration will grow. We are fully confident IBC is the best partner to have in the United States—not only for sales but to provide outstanding parts and service support to all Imabe equipment.”
