International Absorbents Inc. announced that its board of directors has approved the purchase of property in Georgia for the potential location of an Eastern U.S. manufacturing plant. The site includes a 42,000 square foot building suitable for the company's production requirements.

International Absorbents Inc. develops, manufactures and markets consumer and commercial products derived from recycled, renewable materials. The products are used in a broad range of consumer and industrial applications, including retail/commercial pet bedding and litter, oil and hazardous liquid spill cleanup and control, oil/water filtration, and packaging.
