InterGroup International Limited, an Ohio-based recycler of plastic, is holding an open house to celebrate the opening of its second facility.
The company, based in Warren, Ohio, buys and sells scrap PVC, polypropylene, PET, ABS and other grades of plastic. InterGroup manufactures plastic resins from post-industrial plastic scrap and also sells thermoplastic vinyl and metal-nylon boards.
It has invited customers and other guests to an open house on Thursday, Aug. 26, at its second facility, which is in Euclid, Ohio, on the border with Cleveland.
In late April of 2010, the company was awarded a 45 percent job creation tax credit for a five-year term as a result of its project in Euclid. The $2 million project is expected to create 42 jobs and help InterGroup retain 8 positions, according to a news release from the Ohio Department of Development.
