InterGroup International receives recognition

Cleveland-based InterGroup International Ltd. has announced it has been named the 90th largest American recycler on the Waste360 Top 100 list.

InterGroup is the only company on the list specializing in post industrial scrap plastic solutions. Its 2015 revenue was $15.8 million in 2015.

InterGroup focuses on landfill diversion programs for plastics manufacturers. It markets include flexible packaging, housewares, lawn and garden, building and construction and automotive.

Operating from a series of company-owned locations as well as from third-party processing centers, InterGroup services the U.S., eastern Canada and northern Mexico.

“There have been strong headwinds in our market since 2014, and many of our competitors have folded or are in bankruptcy,” says Intergroup International CEO Neil Gloger. “We are fortunate to have exceptional relationships with our vendors and customers. Our team members work very hard to meet the needs of our counterparts … that is the reason for our success.”
