Intercon Solutions Adds Travis J. Griggs to Staff

Intercon Solutions, Chicago Heights, Ill., has hired Travis J. Griggs to spearhead its new wireless recycling program.

“Mr. Griggs’ extensive background in the wireless industry will help us further tailor our services to meet our clients’ needs,” Intercon Solutions CEO Brian Brundage says.

In his first six weeks at Intercon Solutions, Griggs has developed and begun implementing “a plan to control and organize the immense volume of parts, batteries and scrap coming from our customers in the wireless industry,” Dana Anderson, director of corporate communications for Intercon Solutions, says. Griggs has also been educating the company’s sales staff and existing and potential customers about the types of scrap, risks and regulations associated with wireless equipment disposal regionally, according to Anderson.

Prior to joining Intercon, Griggs owned and operated his own wireless electronics recycling business for five years. He is currently running for the Kankakee County (Illinois) board.
