Insurance Auto Auctions, a wholly owned subsidiary of KAR Auction Services, is opening two auction facilities in Louisiana. The facilities, located in Lafayette and Covington, complement IAA’s Baton Rouge, La., branch and create broader coverage throughout Louisiana, according to the company.
"Our focus at IAA has been to increase our facility footprint because it simply is a win-win for our buyers and sellers alike knowing that we can offer even more vehicles at convenient locations and provide lower transportation costs," says Tom O'Brien, CEO. "We pride ourselves as a 'one-stop shop' for insurers by offering more locations, and provide a comprehensive suite of auction, logistics, and claims services, which maximize salvage returns, lower administrative costs, and ultimately shorten the claims process."
