The Secondary Metals Processing Division of Commercial Metals Co. (CMC), Dallas, has announced a contract to provide scrap handling services to Insteel Industries Inc. of Mount Airy, N.C

“We look forward to enhancing Insteel’s existing scrap metals recycling program,” says Larry Olschwanger, vice president of national accounts for CMC’s Secondary Metals Processing Division.
Insteel generates scrap at several sites in the U.S., operating in Delaware, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
CMC is involved in the scrap industry as both a processor of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals and a consumer of scrap metals at its four steel mini-mills. The company operates more than 40 scrap processing facilities, as well as 17 brokerage offices, 26 steel fabrication plants and several other metals and concrete-related businesses.Latest from Recycling Today
