Insteel Industries Inc. has renewed its scrap managment contract with the Secondary Metals Processing Division of Commercial Metals Co. (CMC), Irving, Texas.
Headquartered in Mount Airy, N.C., Insteel is one of the nation's leading manufacturers or wire products.
"Our decision to renew our contract with CMC reflects Insteel's satisfaction with pricing transparency and the excellent execution capabilities of CMC," Robert A. Welch, director of materials for Insteel Wire Products Co., says. We are never surpirsed by pricing and we have a solid audit trail for every ton of material that leaves on of our plants. CNC has demonstrated its value to Insteel, and we are pleased to move forward with the renewal of our agreement.," he adds.

CMC and its subsidiaries manufacture, recycle and market steel and metal products, related materials and services through a netwark including steel minimills, steel fabrication and processing plants, construction related product warehouses, a copper tube mill, metals recycling facilities and marekting and distribution offices in the United States and in strategic overseas markets.
