Indiana E-Recycler Expands Operations

E-scrap recycler sees strong business going forward.

Asset Forwarding, an Indianapolis-based computer recycler and refurbishing firm, has expanded one of its two facilities. The expansion follows closely on the company opening the facility the beginning of this year.

The expanded facility will include material security shredding and separation staging to compliment the asset management services at the facility. The shredder will be used to shred hard drives, cell phones, pagers and other data storage devices.

"We are fortunate that this space came available just in time to fit our needs," said Mark Vander Kooy president and founder of Asset Forwarding. "This added space will allow us to continue to serve the strictest corporate customers in the Nation by providing a one stop solution that maximizes the security and value associated with the asset retirement process".

"This is a tribute to our entire team and also a sign of the overall direction of the industry, Kooy added. "The need to control the entire process is becoming very important and our clients are some of the strictest around."

The company’s new facility now total’s 32,000 square feet, and includes security and safety standards. "Our key differentiator is that we provide the strictest chain of custody and most comprehensive services in the industry. We are truly the one call, one-stop solution for moving, removing and recycling technology in accordance with the strictest environmental and security standards."

Asset Forwarding also sponsors Tech-Drop (www.tech-drop.com), a residential computer drop-off service that is expanding rapidly while supporting schools, churches and not-for-profit organizations.
