The state of Illinois’ Governor Rod Blagojevich announced that nearly $44,000 in Opportunity Returns funding has been awarded to Advanced Business Concepts, Centralia, Ill., to expand its commercial recycling program throughout the region.
"Advanced Business Concepts proves that we can improve our environment without sacrificing the needs and profits of businesses," said Gov. Blagojevich. "This Opportunity Returns grant supports the good work it is already doing and will help ensure that the Southeast region continues to do business in an environmentally conscious way."
This recycling grant is administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and come as a part of Opportunity Returns, Gov. Blagojevich's pro-active, regional economic development plan designed to create jobs and spur growth in the Southeast region.
"We are extremely happy to have this opportunity to grow our business and look forward to providing confidential document destruction recycling services to many new customers," said Pam McKay, President of Advanced Business Concepts.
