Illinois Company Joins Auto Parts Network
Rhodes Auto S/S/S, Streator, Ill., has joined the Quality Replacement Parts (QRP) network, based in Schofield, Wisc.
Member companies of QRP, a group of independently owned auto recycling businesses in the upper Midwest, provide parts replacement services to each other in adjoining regional markets. QRP members supplement each others’ “in-house” inventory by tapping into the parts inventories of their fellow network members.
Rhodes Auto S/S/S dismantles more than 900 vehicles annually and serves customers in a 100-mile radius in central Illinois and Indiana.
The QRP network now consists of 21 companies with 25 locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois.
Founders of QRP are working toward introducing the cooperative QRP concept to other regions of the country.
