The IKEA Recycling Station will allow festival attendees the opportunity to turn in recyclables to benefit the library, leaving with a little something for themselves in return.
Festival attendees who bring n 100 or more redeemable bottles will receive a $10 IKEA coupon.
Proceeds from the bottle and can deposits collected at the festival will benefit local New Haven Free Public Library programs. IKEA New Haven will match these proceeds, doubling the contribution to the library.
The New Haven bookmobile will also be on site at the IKEA Recycling Center to provide access to books and information about library programs and services.
The IKEA Recycling Center will be open Aug. 20 and 27 from 3 p.m. until approximately 9:30 p.m.
