The Brussels-based International Iron and Steel Institute (IISI) has announced that its 40th Annual Conference will take place from October 1-3 in
“The conference will bring together more than 300 of the top executives of the world’s steel leading companies as well as representatives of the world’s business and trade media,” an IISI news release states.
Among speakers lined up by IISI are:
· Guy Dollé, CEO of Luxebourg-based steelmaker Arcelor
· Paulo Rocca, President of the Techint Organization
· Australian professor Markus A. Reuter on the topic of “Steel and Sustainability”
· IISI Chairman and Secretary General Ian Christmas.
The program will also include panel discussions on topics such as
steel’s ongoing role in the automotive sector, the construction industry
and other industry sectors.
