IESI Corp. announced the purchase of certain assets from Waste Corporation of Texas LP. The assets purchased consisted of 3 hauling operations located in Mineral Wells, Stephenville, and Graham, Tex., and one transfer station located in Granbury, Tex. The purchase included 14 municipal collection contracts, including the cities of: Stephenville, Graham and Mineral Wells. The hauling operations acquired served approximately 26,000 residential and 4,900 commercial and industrial customers. Annual revenue is approximately $8.7 million.
IESI provides collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services to 275 communities, including more than 535,000 residential customers and 54,000 commercial and industrial customers in nine states.Latest from Recycling Today
