The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Association of Electronics Recyclers (IAER) will hold the 2005 IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and the Environment to be held in conjunction iwth the IAER Electronics Recycling Summit May 16-19 in New Orleans.
This year's program features the latest in environmental design, manufacturing, new technologies, recycling and policy, with a special focus on the the management of energy and materials in the production, use and disposal of electronics.
The IEEE and IAER invite authors from industry, academia, recyclers and consultant to submit paper describing case studies, research, applications and tools. Prospective authors should submit an extended abstract of no fewer than 900 words that explains the subject of the paper and its relevance to the industry by Oct. 27, 2004.
