Switzerland-based event organizer ICM AG has scheduled four workshops as part of its E-Mobility & Circular Economy (EMCE) conference, which is July 1-3 in Tokyo. The workshops have been scheduled for the opening day of the event, July 1.
There are two workshops from which delegates can choose the morning of July 1 and then two more from which they can choose that afternoon. The four workshop topics are:
- “How to handle defective or unstable Lithium HV Car Batteries.” This morning workshop will be moderated by Andreas Krebs of Switzerland-based recycling technology provider Blubox.
- “Sustainable Electronics Recycling Certification – SERI.” Corey Dehmey, the executive director of United States-based Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), will moderate this morning workshop.
- “E-Mobility in Japan: Fire Safety Challenges.” This afternoon workshop will be moderated by Jonathan Crozier of the Belgium-based European Chemical Industrial Council (CEFIC).
- “The Road to Autonomous Driving” afternoon workshop will examine what has been achieved and what remains to be done in terms of driverless vehicles.
On July 2-3, sessions at the EMCE conference will focus on trends and developments in the vehicle, electronics and battery sectors, including advances in recycling in those sectors.
