The board of directors for the International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA) has appointed Carl Bohm its new president, effective Oct. 1, 2011. Bohm replaces Jim Keller, who announced his resignation from the position during the 2011 ICCA/WCO (World Containerboard Organization) Global Summit in May 2011.
Bohm has held several positions with Weyerhaeuser Co.’s Containerboard Packaging & Recycling business from 1994–2008. In 2009, Bohm became a founding partner in Global Paper Sales LLC and has worked as a consultant with Gerson Lehrman Group.
Bohm has served on the American Forest & Paper Association’s Containerboard Executive Committee from 2003–2008; on the board of directors for the WCO from 2004 – 2008; and on the Fibre Box Association’s board from 2007–2008.
