Hytec Dealer Services Inc. is introducing a new line of products that are geared to provide certified hard disk drive sanitation services. The Hytec Drive Secure is designed to work with an imaging dealership’s current processes, but also allow for end-user clients to work directly with Hytec. The service removes the dealership from the data destruction process and reducing potential liability.
Hytec Drive Secure service options include the Complete Drive Solution, Drive Sanitization & Return and the Complete Drive Destruction. The program includes replacement hard drives shipped in a hard-shell case for secure chain-of custody. The shipment includes complete return instructions, a pre-paid return label, a client release authorization and pad lock for secure return.
Hytec Drive Secure Drive Sanitization & Return option includes data erasure to meet, or exceed, Department of Defense 5220.22-M directive. Sanitized drives will be returned for reuse, and a certificate of sanitization will be issued. A hard-shell case is available for secure chain of custody.
Hytec Drive Secure Complete Drive Destruction option includes completely destroying hard drives by an industrial-grade shredding process, randomizing discharge material, and rendering all data completely unreadable. All debris is recycled in accordance with governmental regulations. A hard-shell case is available for secure chain of custody.
Hytec Drive Secure is a cost effective option that reduces dealership liability, provide a value-added client service, and can also provide increased revenue streams for imaging dealerships.
