Hydro Adds Annis to Belton Staff

New operations manager named for South Carolina extruded products facility.

Allan Annis has been named as operations manager at the Belton, S.C., extruded products facility of Hydro North America.

 

According to the company, Annis will be “responsible for enhancing manufacturing effectiveness while expanding Belton’s extrusion and fabrication capabilities.”

 

Annis has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, having previously worked for several companies, including Westinghouse Electric, Rockwell Automation, Ingersoll Rand, and the Athens, Ga., facility of Power Partners, Inc.

 

Hydro is a Fortune 500 energy and aluminum supplier with 33,000 employees operating in nearly 40 countries. The company’s North American Extrusion Unit is headquartered near Baltimore.

 

The company has developed aluminum processes to enhance increase its use of aluminum scrap. According to its Web site, the Hydro corporate family has 700,000 metric tons of remelt capacity.
