Garrod Hydraulics of York, Pa., has moved into a new facility at 1050 Locast Point Rd. The company remanufactures and repairs hydraulic cylinders and provides industrial hard chrome plating services that specializes in reparing large bore and long stroke cylinders used in the recycling industry.
The company now boasts one of the largest chrome plating operations on the East Coast. Garrod is capable of plating up to 60-inch diameters and 12-foot lengths as well as 30-inch diameters and 46-foot lengths using its switch mode rectifier technology, according to the company.
