Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions (IBS), Southbridge, Massachusetts, a manufacturer of industrial blades and knives, has received ISO 9001:2015 standards certification by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The certification recognizes Hyde’s ability to meet or exceed current specifications for products, services and systems, to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
Following an audit by the organization across all departments including manufacturing, purchasing, quality control and inspection, logistics, sales and customer service, Hyde says it has become one of the first industrial blade manufacturers to achieve the new ISO standard. The company previously was certified as an ISO 9001:2008 operation.
“This designation underscores Hyde’s and its employees’ dedication to delivering the best products and services day in and day out,” says Rob Scoble, president of The Hyde Group. “The certification also demonstrates our ability to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements, while striving for constant improvements throughout the company.”
Hyde IBS services a wide variety of markets including food processing, cloth and textile and leather, hose and tube, tire and rubber, plastics processing, paper converting, packaging and abrasives as well as general industrial applications.
