Frickingen, Germany-based equipment maker HMS GmbH + Co KG has announced that former Chief Executive Matthias Wochner has left the company as of Dec. 31, 2015, “in order to take on new challenges within the framework of self-employment.”
The company says Managing Director and principal shareholder Hermann Schwelling will now “act as the sole chief executive with immediate effect.”
An HMS news release announcing the personnel changes also states, “The departments of sales and marketing, service and finance have been divided into separate areas [and] the newly vacant positions [created by Wochner’s departure] were filled by long-standing and experienced staff members.”
Says Schwelling of the departed chief executive, “Matthias Wochner has been a highly dedicated member of HSM for many years. We thank him for his long-term and excellent cooperation and wish him all the best in his self-employment.”
