Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. has developed a container equipped with automatic devices for loading and unloading freight.
Hydraulic power is used in one wall that can be used to push freight toward the door of the container. The container also has a double floor, for moving freight around inside. No ramps are used, and no platforms or other attachments are needed, making the container safer to operate.
The container can be operated more efficiently, at lower cost, than previous models. The container is ideally suited for companies involved in transporting material such as wood chips, recycled paper and waste plastic.
