Hi-Rise's vertical balers feature heavy-duty construction, a maintenance- friendly electronics controls package, and advanced hydraulics usually found only on more expensive balers. These space-saving balers are suitable for both large material recovery facilities and small recycling centers. Hi-Rise balers are in use today at retailers, recycling centers, medical facilities, manufacturing plants, hotels, supermarkets and distribution centers.
The unit operates quietly, is less than 13-foot tall including the cylinder, and is easy to maintain. An oil level site gauge and auto eject system, Hi- Rise exclusive features, simplify baler maintenance. The location of the baler's hydraulics can be customer-specified, another feature unique to Hi- Rise balers. Three of the company's new balers, the HRC6030s, feature a full 30-inch vertical opening, the industry's largest.
The key-operated controls include an interlock system okay light for doors and platen, automatic shutdown, "bale made" light, a programmable controller for troubleshooting, and hands-free ejection with manual up button. The "black box," which has undergone rigorous testing and has been used in other heavy- duty industrial applications, can undergo troubleshooting at the customer site by its own maintenance personnel or, instead, replaced and serviced at the factory. Additionally, the platen rests against material prior to tie-off to minimize springback and its lifting lugs are permanently attached.
Detailed product specifications can be found at the end of this press release.

We're pleased to bring this to the marketplace, and to set a new standard for high-quality and reliable balers."
