
TOMRA of North America Inc., Shelton, Ct., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tomra Systems ASA, has named Harald Henriksen president and CEO of TOMRA of North America. Henriksen joined TOMRA ASA, based in Norway, in 2004. He previously served as the company’s senior vice president of technology.
As president of TOMRA of North America, Henriksen will focus on growing the company's business across all of its lines, including sensor-based and sorting solutions such as reverse vending machines, balers, compactors and processing technologies.
In his previous role with TOMRA ASA, Henriksen was responsible for research and development, operations, production and project management. Together with the CEO, he also led the Collection Technology business unit. In another key role, he established and ran TOMRA’s sales, sourcing and production in China.
