Hendricks Holding Co. Acquires Electronics Refurbisher, Recycler

CRT Processing Corp. and Midwest Electronics Warehouse acquired in deal.

Hendricks Holding Co. Inc. of Beloit, Wis., has announced the acquisition of electronics recycler CRT Processing Corp. and electronics refurbisher Midwest Electronics Warehouse Inc. (“MEW”). The transaction was finalized July 6, 2007. CRT and MEW are privately held companies based in Janesville, Wis.

CRT Processing was founded in 2004 by partners Donald Seiler and James Cornwell, who also head MEW. CRT recycles components from electronic equipment and cathode ray tubes into new glass.

Ken Hendricks, chairman of Hendricks Holding Co., says, “CRT Processing and Midwest Electronics Warehouse are a great fit with our other recycling and waste-to-market businesses. Don and Jim are outstanding managers, and under their leadership I believe there is an opportunity for tremendous growth in the company.”

Seiler, president of CRT and MEW, says, “Affiliating with Ken Hendricks and Hendricks Holding Co. Inc. will allow us to expand the processing of e-waste locally and into many other parts of the United States.”

Ken Hendricks also owns ABC Supply Co. Inc., which describes itself as the largest wholesale distributor of exterior building products to the professional contractor market in the United States. As a result of his success with ABC Supply and other business ventures, Hendricks was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” in December 2006 by Inc. magazine.
