Refuse and recycling vehicle manufacturer Heil Environmental,
Parts Central offers a wide range of replacement parts for refuse and recycling vehicles from Heil and other major manufacturers. Heil Certified OEM Parts and Parts Inc. Aftermarket Parts by Heil are available locally through the Parts Central network of dealers.
Tarte will lead his team in creating new sales and marketing strategies to support dealers and customers. He will also focus on product development, including expanding the Parts Inc. aftermarket parts offering.
“My goals are to help our dealers become even more competitive in the marketplace and to provide them with the tools they need to best meet our customers’ needs,” Tarte says. “We’ll build on Heil’s existing VOC (Voice of Customer) efforts to develop a deeper understanding of what our customers need in terms of replacement parts and services, and then will work to meet those needs. We will also be investing more in competitive analysis and supplier sourcing to ensure that Parts Central dealers have access to the best aftermarket parts available in a timely and cost-effective manner.”
Tarte has almost 30 years of vehicle parts/components sales, marketing, operations and management experience. Immediately prior to joining Parts Central, he was OEM business unit manager for fifth-wheel manufacturer Fontaine International. He had also been national sales manager for the company. Before going to Fontaine, he held several positions with Cummins, Inc., including director of OEM aftermarket sales and marketing. He began his career at a division of Cummins, Fleetguard, Inc., a global leader in heavy-duty filtration products. Tarte held several positions of increasing responsibility while with Fleetguard, including general sales manager.
“We are very excited to welcome Tim to the Heil team,” says Michael Jobe, president of Heil Environmental. “With his exceptional experience and abilities, I know he will help take Parts Central to even higher levels of growth, performance and strategic value.”
