Heckett Extends Contract with Nucor

Harsco Corp. announced that its Heckett MultiServ division has been awarded a new seven-year contract to provide ongoing mill services at Nucor Steel-Seattle in Seattle, Washington. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Nucor Steel-Seattle is a unit of Nucor Corporation and part of Nucor's bar mill group.

The new contract extends and expands Heckett MultiServ's on-site responsibilities for slag handling, slag marketing and metal recovery services. Heckett MultiServ had previously operated at this location under Birmingham Steel Corporation prior to its recent acquisition by Nucor.
