Hong Kong-based Chiho Environmental Group Ltd. has announced that Klaus Hauschulte has resigned as CEO of on behalf of Essingen, Germany-based Scholz Recycling GmbH, Chiho’s largest subsidiary, effective Nov. 19.
During his two years with Scholz, Hauschulte managed considerable change as the company was acquired by Chiho. However, he has resigned so the company can pursue a different but consistent business strategy.
In announcing his departure, Yongming Qin, CEO of CEG, thanked Hauschulte for his service, which he said involved numerous accomplishments:
- shaping the group and integrating its subsidiaries into a common network;
- facilitating the new financial organization;
- establishing a technology board and roadmap;
- enhancing key account management by acquiring several new customers;
- pushing processes optimization from yard to management via the Scholz 2022 Vision; and
- initiating a strong and relevant footprint in politics and associations.
Qin will replace Hauschulte on a temporary basis as CEO of Scholz Recycling.
