Harsco's Division Awarded 10-Year Contract

Harsco Corp. announced that its MultiServ mill services division has been awarded a 10-year contract to provide a range of mill services at U.S. Steel Corp.’s recently acquired steelmaking works in Smederevo, Serbia.

MultiServ also supports U. S. Steel's Kosice, Slovakia works and several U. S. Steel locations in the United States, including its Gary, Indiana works, the largest integrated steel plant in North America.

MultiServ will provide a range of basic mill services at the Serbia facility, including slag pit digging and hauling, metal recovery, scrap cutting and scarfing. Work is scheduled to get underway during the second quarter of the year.
