Harsco Corp. announced the implementation of a new, unified global structure and identity for its MultiServ division, the world's largest provider of on-site, outsourced mill services to the steel and metals industries.
Derek Hathaway, Harsco chairman, president and CEO, said that the unified MultiServ division will be centrally headquartered in the United Kingdom, near London. A network of regional offices in Europe, the United States, Latin America, South Africa and Australia will be maintained.
``As a single global team, we expect MultiServ to become even stronger and more competitive in support of its customers,'' Hathaway said. ``Our strategic plans are to expand MultiServ's scope of services and geographic spread through a focused and targeted investment program.''
MultiServ operates at more than 160 mills in more than 30 countries, providing steelmakers with a range of services that support and enhance the steelmaking operation.
Along with the changes in structure, MultiServ has created a new logo.
