Harsco Adds to Executive Staff

Changes to top management staff are intended to strengthen the company's global growth opportunities.

Harsco Corp. has announced a number of new appointments within its senior executive management ranks. The appointments, all effective immediately, have been done as the company seeks to strengthen its global growth and business transformation objectives.

Salvatore Fazzolari, Harsco’s chairman and CEO, has added the title of president to his responsibilities. He is a 30-year veteran of Harsco.

Stephen Schnoor, Harsco’s senior vice president and CFO, will add the role of treasurer to his responsibilities. The move will bring the company’s global financial organization under single executive leadership.

Richard Sullivan, who joined Harsco early last year as vice president of Business Transformation, will add the role of chief supply chain officer. He will direct the implementation of the key initiatives developed to streamline and strengthen Harsco's global supply chain.

Harsco also announced that the executive operating management team has been reorganized to include new promotions and appointments within the company's principal operating groups. Galdino Claro will assume the title of executive vice president and Group CEO for Harsco Metals and Harsco Minerals business groups.

Harsco adds that a new executive vice president and Group CEO for the Harsco’s Infrastructure business group is expected to be announced shortly.

Both executive vice president positions, as well as their respective Group CFOs and other key Group leaders, will be based at Harsco's Camp Hill, Pa., headquarters.

In addition, Scott Jacoby has been named vice president and Group president of Harsco’s Rail business group, and Scott Gerson will become vice president and Group president of Harsco’s Industrial business group.

Harsco named Han Jansen as Group CFO of the Harsco Metals and Harsco Minerals business groups. Michael Cubitt has been appointed Group CFO of the Harsco Infrastructure group.

With the new appointments, Richard Neuffer and Geoffrey Butler will each assume the title of vice chair.
