Harsco Corp. Lands Two Multi-Year Contracts

Contracts are with ATI Allegheny Ludlum.

Harsco Corp., Camp Hill, Pa., has announced that it has received two multi-year specialty metal processing services contracts that have the potential of reaching $70 million over their duration, including one contract at a new operating location for Harsco, according to a company press release.

The contracts, both with Brackenridge, Pa.-based specialty metals producer ATI Allegheny Ludlum, call for a range of on-site byproduct handling and metal recovery services at Allegheny Ludlum's facilities in Brackenride and Midland, Pa. Harsco has been providing services at the Brackenridge site since 1972, and will now add similar services at the Midland plant, where Allegheny Ludlum produces high quality stainless steel slabs. Harsco also provides on-site services to Allegheny Ludlum's Latrobe, Pa., specialty metals plant.

Galdino Claro, Harsco Metal’s CEO, says, "We are delighted by this opportunity to further expand our long relationship with ATI Allegheny Ludlum. We believe that the competitive advantage represented by our Harsco commitment to safety, the environment, integrity and value creation increases exponentially as customers evaluate their criteria for selecting long-term partners."
