Harris Makes Web Change

Harris Waste Management Group Inc., Peachtree City, Ga., is changing its Web site address to www.harrisequip.com effective July 1, 2008. The company's current address is www.harriswaste.com.

According to a news release from Harris, “The only change is our location name, the transition from harriswaste.com to harrisequip.com will be seamless; in other words, both site names will be working.”

Adds Doug Sebastian, Senior Vice President for Harris, “The new site address highlights the transformation of Harris and the way we think about Harris. Harris is a global company with manufacturing and service capabilities worldwide.” He adds, “2009 is Harris’ 120 year anniversary, you will see changes in the way Harris markets itself, but we will continue the Harris tradition of performance and manufacturing quality and excellence.”

At the Web site, Harris customers and equipment users will continue to have access to the latest product information, news, videos of equipment and can now request information on-line, according to the company. 

Harris is designs, manufactures and supports scrap processing, recycling and waste handling equipment for the global market.
